Errr, I paid £2.99 for one of those peg baskets that you hang on the washing line, I had to install it myself, the total cost of materials was £2.99 for the hardware, a can of Cains bitter for my neighbour to hold the upturned planter for me to stand on, a cheap job all in all hope this answers your question.
Sorry Hooly, I was a bit facetious in my last reply (late night etc etc) What I was getting at is your question was a bit vague, also it is extremely difficult to give price comparison because of regional variation etc. Best advice is to get three quotes, testimonials, examples of previous work etc
