Hi all

Building a new garden wall and one side I’ll be having a ramp up to the upper per of our garden so I can roll lawnmower etc up/down.

I’ve built 2 walls parallel and the ground is level, what should I use to infill to create the ramp. I know I’ll need a certain amount of hardcore, but the height is 1m at the highest end, can the dug out clay be used?

thanks

ideally no . large rubble would be better at that depth , old blocks bricks to make the ground up then smaller stuff whacked in as you get to the top. it’s only a path though eh(y)

Could I fill the whole thing in with type 1?

same with the steps which are built on a concrete pad, what can I use to fill, not much old bricks/ blocks around

thanks
