Garden Sectioning

How do I form sectioning between Garden and pathway. Can just normal wood be used?

are you forming a barrier between the path and a lawn or beds?
You can pretty well use whatever takes your fancy, bricks, timber, steel etc etc etc.
if your using timber then you need a pressure treated timber to ensure it lasts.

If you do, go for Forest pine products which are guaranteed for 15 years against rot. I also always treat the end of the timber when cutting as well.
