Garden wood chair

I inherited that lovely chair and was aiming to get it painted.
Was gonna choose a normal dark brown colour like for usual bench or garden chair instead of a fancy pastel colour which is more high maintenance.

Just wondering what was your thoughts?

Do it! Bang on some Sadolin or something like that. Or maybe just chuck some wax/oil on. I'm confused what all the different types are used for though (Danish, Linseed, Tung, bees wax). I'm sure a chippy on here would be able to advise.

Teak wood ? just clean it - look on the web for a mix- paint will come off Was told that by a old boy who used to make teak furniture.

I've never used that product, newboy, but it looks like it does an awesome job. If that is your table, was it as easy to do as the instructions suggest?
