Hi all

I am planning a garden workshop in our garden, I am doing the build.

As to the electrics, I have had a local electrician quote me to undertake the electrical installation. His quote was on the high side, I think, and I wish to save some money.

My plan being to do as much of the labouring as possible. So I'll be digging the 25m trench for the SWA and I would like to do the first and second fix. (for example I'll clip the cables and install back boxes where needed).

My question is this, what is a good hand book that identifies the regulations I would need to comply with for this sort of installation ? (For example using metal clips when clipping cables due to the risks of plastic ones melting in a fire).

Thanks guys
