gardtac 500 series - no code

hi all, i've moved into a rented property where there is a gardtac 500 alarm, my landlord does not have the current code and can no longer find the old tennents ( think they did a moonlight flit ) also ive tried to get in contact with a company in lleeds called Gardiner technology but think there number is out of order. can anyone offer a different suggestion. i need this alarm fixing as there have been numerous break in recently. my hubby is no good at this D.I.Y stuff.
