We have a Gardtec 800 series alarm that was in the house we moved into. Because we don't have the engineer code the alarm man fitted a new chip and battery.
We can now set up new users and are able to set the alarm. However the alarm doesn't actually go off when it is triggered.
When I set it the timer counts down, but then the sensors don’t actually set off the alarm. It's as if zones have not been added. The sensors all work and no does the bell (I tested it in test mode)
Does anyone know what the problem could be? I'd rather not replace the whole alarm and keypad if possible.
