Hi

I currently have a gardtech house alarm and wanted to disable one of my sensors. I tried to remove the zone using the manual but it did not seem to work. I then tried to remove the wires from the required sensor which made the house alarm sound. After about 15minutes the alarm stopped, the keypad has no power to it, and neither does all the sensors in the house and the lights that are always on the alarm outdoes ( even when it is deactivated) are not on.

Can any one help?

I've put the wires in the correct place and checked all fuses and they are fine.[/img]

lee tomorrow morning go to specsavers, you have posted in plumbing not the alarms section of the forum :)

You connect the flow from the pir to the return of the billow sensor, flush with some cleanser and then dose with some inhibitor.

Bobs your uncle :p

You can either programme the Zone to "not Used" or disconnect the detctor, and then put a link between the the CCct Termianls and a second link between the Tamper terminals (depending on the Gardtec model)
best post in Alarms section (good job I worked for Lander Alarms for a short while!! )

Do you mean the "Tamper" connections or the "Antitamper" ?

Regardess, its easy enough to disable it.

Or if its temporary or beyond the simple electronics then just cover it with silver foil!
