My very old blow torch has expired. I have a one off (probably) job diverting some 15mm pipes in my daughters new house. I don't want to spend a fortune on a torch as it may not be used again (I'm in my 70's). I have a fair bit of experience soldering copper pipe and a lot of experience as a lead cable plumber (that ages me!).
Can anyone suggest a non expensive torch to do the job?
Preferably with these attributes.
Non flare up.
Level flame even upside down (or nearly)
Controllable flame
A nozzle not too wide or not too fine a flame
Am I asking too much of a cheapie?
