Had new gas boiler fitted last year, wall hung with outside wall flue all in same place as previous boiler, but more powerful. Have noticed steam from flue blows onto one side of house wall due to the strong west winds i get here, this is causing the paint on wall to bubble off and make plaster render damp. Could i fix thin metal sheet around the sides of the wire basket which covers the flue leaving the front open to direct the steam away from the wall ?.Many thanks for any advice.
