I have just bought a new cooker, but the bayonet connection at the rear is different to my existing connection. Is there an adaptor that i can use or is it a case off getting a gas safe guy in to change over or replace the hose on my new cooker?
new one looks like a male with pin and 4 holes
old one looks like a female, but smaller than new one with hole in the centre.

any help much appreciated[/img]

It is very unusual for a NEW cooker to come fitted with a hose!!!

But the easier solution is to change the SOCKET for the common type to fit your hose.

That's a job for a Gas Reg person.
