Hi, just a query on behalf of a friend,
She had has to disconnect her cooker as she is getting a new floor fitted tomorrow, she has removed the bayonet connection for the cooker
(Rubber hose, brass connection with the bayonet holder type fitting and four holes)
Is it safe to turn the gas on without the connection in place so she can have CH/DHW?
IE, does the connection seal closed with nothing connected and no gas can escape?
Thanks in advance.
