Hi!

I have a cooker with a 1/2" male bayonet hose attached. However, my kitchen gas supply in my new house has a smaller female bayonet. Is there any kind of adaptor I can fit or will a hose with a smaller bayonet simply screw into my cooker?

Cheers,
Matthew

No off the shelf adapters, and changing a gaspipe is not a diy job I'm afraid.

u need a gas engineer to fit your cooker mate. there is more to just pluging a cooker in and thats it. u have to consider ventilation for combustion openable windows doors etc. also checking safe operation of safety devices. controls and maybe a service along with a gas rate. and a tightness test on your gas installation.
