Gas fire paint peeling

I have a homeflame harmony gas fire and I have noticed that the paint is peeling from the fascia and at the top centre of the glass it looks smoky

You can see in the photo what I mean.

Obviously I am not doing to be doing any DIY, I just wondered if anyone knew why it might be doing it? View media item 18483
 
Staining on glass is common its caused by condensation , but paint peeling suggest seal on glass frame may not be sealing properly and getting fume spillage , get someone out to service fire and check .


Best way to clean the glass is Brasso or a really wet brillo pad if stubborn
