I've got a gas fire set within an old brickwork fireplace, this is coming out due to a damp course and the fact that I don't like it!
Anyway I've been offered a new fire surround but not sure if it will fit. The fire measures 640mm at its widest and the surround at 690mm would this be too tight a fit? Its made from pine too so don't want any heating issues
