Hello experts
Any advice on this please...
Ive changed the battery for my gas fire's ignition but the clicking noise is still quite faint, and its not lighting the fire.
The battery I took out works in another appliance and the battery I put in also worked with the other appliance.
Its only a 9 volt rectangular shaped battery.
Also is it safe to light the fire with a hob lighter until I can get it looked at or must you use the ignition only.
I want to be safe so am not using the fire at all even though its cold..I have still got central heating though. Just wondering what you guys think before I call Brit gas out.
Thanks for any advice you can give.
