The last time the gas hob was changed in my house was approx 15 yrs ago

Here is the current set up

What I wanted to know was whether the current setup complies with current regulation.. or will I need new parts when the new hob is installed?

It doesn't look a great install with all those adapters!
Is there an isolation cock on the pipe work in the immediate vicinity of the appliance ie in the cupboard adjacent or behind the oven , if not then that wouldn't pass for an ACOPS approved installation.

The gas safe engineer that installs the new hob, will be able to assess whether the pipe size and fittings are suitable and whether there should be a local isolator installed.

cheers guys

all sorted.. got an isolator installed too

Ideally this thread should have been in the Plumbing and Heating as it relates to gas fittings which is a plumbing aspect.
