I've just fitted my new gas hob in a flat I rent out. I've used a flexi tap connector that was too long so I've cut it & connected it to the existing copper pipe with a jubilee clip. The tenant is now complaining that their Coq au Vin has a funny taste. Can anyone confirm if the gas pressure could be too high or if natural gas has taken on a higher calorific value?? Also, they're saying that they can no longer get channel 4 on the telly either??? Can anyone shed any light on these problems?? I'm sitting on the toilet awaiting a speedy reply, as I'd like to text them back directly.
