Can gas meters to new houses be positioned internally? I know National Grid have an option on theire 'new connection' form to choose an 'above ground entry' so I assune this means if you want the meter inside??

Cheers guys

Dunno, but above ground would be on a wall and in a box, and semi-submerged would usually be under a bush, probably thorny.

I think the 'above ground entry' means to an internal meter, there are options to have a bolt-on or built in meter too.

Yes but it isn't the houseowner's choice, it's the gas provider's!

I thought all new build the meter had to be outside
