Gas meter re connection

Hi all,

I am having my gas meter moved into the garage where the boiler is also located.
I need to re-connect the gas meter to the boiler.They are in the same wall and separated a distance of approx 3 meters. I am in Hampshire, how much can I expect to be charged by a gas safe engineer?

you are getting your gas meter installed inside a garage ? surprised your supplier has agreed to that

DodgySailor Apart from moving the gas service pipe to the new location,is the gas company arranging for your meter to be refitted on a bracket ? If not your gas installer will need to be qualified to do gas meters as well as pipework.
