Hi

I have an old gas outlet which I want to swap it out for a slimmer fitting at the top as it sticks out from the wall by about 90mm.

I've attached a photo.

Can anyone recommend what other gas valve fittings I can have fitted in the pipe, that stick out no more than 50mm?

Thanks

instead of that elbow your gasman will alter the pipe and use use a flat backplate elbow the points to the side instead of out

How far would say this would stick out from the wall?

Do you know the gas product.

Once I employ a gas safe engineer I will get him to advise too.

But at the moment fitting a cupboard before that needs to allow some space to the back for this gas outlet. And the existing one taking up too much space!
