i have a burnham gas boiler model 208 with a continuous pilot, can i change it to an intermittant pilot?

Yes looking through the installation manual as far can see you can upgrade to the 2H model, but best to ask The Manufacturers.
You would need the services of skilled Personnel, as it looks like you would need to change the Gas Control Assembly and re-jig the wiring, adding the electronic ignition.
