I think I'm going to need a new gas supply to my boiler, I'd like the engineer to bring the pipe down above my cupboard and in to the boiler. The problem is the lack of space, my boiler is one side and there are four pipes next to it without the room for another pipe. Is it possible/allowed to clip the gas pipe to an existing pipe to make a double row. Thanks for any input.

Maybe put it on the left hand side of the unit, or on stand off brackets in between the existing. no problem though.

Thanks denso13, what sort of stand off brackets are available?
I'm thinking I'll need a new gas pipe as my current one is barrel and is cemented under the floor. It has a very small leak which was OK under the old regs but I wonder if it will fail now when my meter is replaced.

It would fail under the new procedure. How is it currently fed? Able to run under cupboards?
