Gas pipe location

Hello, My gas meter is in the same cupboard as my consumer unit. The 22mm pipe that supplies the combi boiler upstairs runs up the wall and over the top of the cables coming out of the consumer unit. the cables are not touching the pipe.

Are there any distances that a gas pipe has to be from electrical aplliances or cables?

25mm to any cables, more (150mm?) to a consumer unit. I think the clearance can be reduced if the pipe is electrically insulated, say with tape. Also the gas pipe should be earthed within 600mm of meter.
