gas pipes and electrical cables

Is there a certain distance gas pipes need to be.from electrical cables?

Thanks thought so, if running a pipe around a garage and some electical cables drop down the wall would you have to offset the pipe out to give you 25mm? As a stand of clip doesnt quite get you this
 
Its usually considered adequate to sheath the pipe in plastic. Perhaps like the clip on radiator pipe upstands or the spiral cable tidy plastic.

Its also 150 mm from any electrical fitting such as a socket etc.

Does this mean you dont need a 25mm gap? Would need offsetting around the trunking though. Why is there a reg of 25mm between gas pipes and cables?
 
Cant see the distance of 10mm to 25mm making.much of.a difference?
 
I get what you mean. One way to give it 25mm maybe to space the clips off abit with copper spacers.
 
Thanks to get conduit the cables I think the clips would need spacing with talon clip spacers these would give the required distance.
