I have a normal vented central heating system with a worcester bosch Greenstar 18Ri boiler.
if i wanted to convert this to a sealed system and fit an expansion vessel, safety relief valve, fill loop etc do I need to be gas safe registered?
i will not be touching the boiler at all.
thanks
Tom

1. You do NOT need to be Gas Safe Registered.
2. The filling loop must conform with that specified in the installation instructions.
3. Make sure the expansion vessel size is sufficient for the number of radiators fitted. Four percent of total system water volume *boiler, pipes, radiators, underfloor pipework if UFH fitted) is the absolute minimum.
4. Ensure the over-pressure outlet pipe properly terminated, with a bend / fitting pointing back to the wall, and a cage fitted if necessary.
