Any advise on the following
Just had a new boiler fitted, all works well
The fitters advised the gas supply to the meter is lower then expected, called out the Grid, they agreed there may be a small blockage and started to dig up the street and drive, unable to clear or find the blockage the holes were filled in, advised that the pressure is slightly lower then expected but ok
The question what effect would low gas pressure have on the boiler (no other appliance works from the gas supply only the boiler)
What should the pressure be and what would be acceptable

What is the working pressure at the boiler.

Make and model of the boiler is.

How long is the pipe, what size is it, and how many bends.

These questions would normally be asked of your installer as he knows your installation and the problem.

Is there any reason why you dont trust him?

Usually it makes no practical difference but does render the installation substandard.

Without the figures we cannot advise. We dont give advice on gas work to DIYers. If you get the figures from your installer, particularly the gas pressure at the meter with the boiler on full power, then we can advise on the implications.
