Gas Supply to Meter Lead Pipe

Hi

What are the regs around the supply pipe to a Gas meter in Lead. Is it within regs do I need to do anything about it, who is responsible for it.

The meter is within the house and all the pipe after the meter is in copper. The house is tenanted and has had CP12s' carried out for the last 10 years and the engineer has only just raised mentioned the supply pipe as an issue.

Perfectly legal and acceptable NG or whoever covers your area will prob change it if the meter gets changed as they are now meant to fit every meter on a bracket and leads cant go on brackets.

If you ask for it to be changed they will charge but if you phone and say pressure at appliances is fluctuating then they will prob just change it without checking for free.
