i have a timber side gate to my house
it fits between my garage wall and neighbouring fence
it opens inwards on garage side hinges side hinges
it has at present a sliding security bolt
in future i want it to spring shut and hold shut, but be able to be used by anyone coming in.
the idea is to allow access to the front garden from the rear of the property but to close to keep our puppy in the back garden, and be able to gain access coming back in..
its probably a simple solution but without help i will probably go overboard with catches and such
hope to hear from you soon...the puppy arrives in 4 weeks!!
