General purpose nail gun which can take twist nails.

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a quality general purpose nail gun which will be used for all sorts of DIY jobs in the coming years. I have a specific roofing job coming up which will require twist nails. Is there a nail gun out there that can handle both straight shank and twisted?

I've had a look at the Paslode PPN35i but from what I can tell this is only for twisted nails - is that correct?

I think you mean ring nails or grip fast

Yes the pp nailer will only fire twist nails, the gun is more expensive and also a lot louder!

Thanks. What about Duo-Fast, can these guns take both twisted and straight?
