Were the IRA a right wing terrorist group ????
Right and left wing are two parts of a circle that meet up, look at the similarities between commy and fashist dictatorships. Both have laws that basically say anything deemed to be against the interests of the state is a crime that can punished as we think fit, basically we can lock up anyone we don't like for as long as we want. Cherish the democracy you're in mate. Btw maggy T had extensive discussions with RA, is she one of yer froot cakes?

Blup

Democracy is an illusion.
You can choose any leader you like as long as the vested interests approve.
Applying your theory, which “vested interests” brought Liz Trussed down?

Isn't one mans terrorist another mans freedom fighter?

The British unlike the Europeans don't do fascism very well.
British Nazis are more of the toytown variety, exemplified by the likes of Nick Griffin and various oddballs who live on their own.

Oh, I don't know. Removing the right to protest, promising legislation to remove the right to strike, interfering with wage negotiations, promising to remove us from the ECHR (of which we were, it should be noted, a founder member), denial of refugee rights, secret back door deals to get your mates lucrative government contracts for PPE which supplied unusable materials (and then not attempting to recover the public moneys thus wasted), selling seats in the Lords, gerrymandering constuency boundaries, etc. All sounds a bit more of a fascist threat than Nick Griffin - and that's the Tories

Americans had heir own version in the 30s, a frightful chap called Fritz Kuhn who formed the German-American Bund. Had children learning all kinds of Nazi nastiness at Summer Camps and even held a rally at Madison Square Garden.
