Hello All,

I am after a blueprint of my house, detailing structure, material used to build, as well as location of pipes, electrics.

Is there such a document and if yes how can I get access to the same.

Many thanks,

Me too- want to move a wall upstairs but have no idea whether it's structural. Contacted the architect and the company who did the frames but guess what? Zilch.

It's nothing short of a scandal- biggest purchase most folk will ever make and you don't get a "manual" on how it was built, what's hidden under what etc for future reference, probably a scam to prevent any DIYers from getting too adventurous....
You even get a manual for a car FFS!!

Guess what Sherlock, the architect owes you nothing, you had a contract with the pevious owner or the developer not the architect, that's who your beef should be with. If you or the OP could be bothered to search the site properly you'd find numerous answers to your query!

if you can't help/advice properly keep ya fingers off the keyboard.

I had looked in the property before asking question here

Guess what Holmes(or being FM's twin maybe it should be Homo) he f*ckin well owes us plenty. He designed the whole thing the rest of the monkeys involved just worked to his plans...(plans in the loosest definition).

There is no previous owner, and a "timber frame specialist" was subbed to make up the floor/wall/roof sections (and they did this P*ss Poorly despite claiming to be one of Scotlands premier "passivhaus" companies. Our collie could fall through some of the gaps they WEREN'T meant to leave)

With 8000+ no doubt useful posts you must spend a whack of time on here- why not post up a link to what you claim is hidden in the site to help us rather than jerk off like the rest of the 4-5 figure posters all seem to do?

If it's a newish build then the company that build them may well have a copy. So it depends on whether the builders and/or the original architects are still in existence and can be located :)

So you bought the house off an architect and he didn't give you any plans? Try and make your posts comprehensible, that way people can understand what it is you are trying to communicate!

And you wonder why you get short drift from most on here.
Go find more conspiracy theories, and give us a rest.

thanks cantaloup63.

Will check with builder, it was built by westbury homes in 2004, they went into administration and were taken over by persimmon.
