Getting Gas connected for the 1st time

Does anybody know what it costs to get a gas supply presented to a building ?

There is gas in the road and some neighbouring houses have had it connected, it would appear the property is only a few meters from the Gas main.

Any guidance/experiance in such things appreciated.

You need to contact your Gas Transporter or approach a gas supplier.
Depending where you are in the county depends who the DN operator is.
Most likely National Grid, I cant remember where the border is for Southern Gas Networks is sorry.

Costs can vary depending where the service has to be laid and the material of the ground (concrete etc)... Only the connections arm of the transporter can quote you accurately
