Getting text messages off phone onto computer

I would like to be able to download all sent and received text messages from my phone with the date and time that they were sent and received.

I have been using this http://fma.sourceforge.net/index2.htm but it doesn't give the date and time of the sent messages.

Do you know or use such a program? (I have tried google but don't seem to be using the right words, possibly).

have u downloaded the programme that came with the phone??? when u connect the phone to ur pc the programme should do all that for you??

i currently run samsung pc studio and that is good but b4 that i had nokia studio

install the software that came with the phone is all i can suggest sorry

For Sony phones "myphoneExplorer" is brilliant and far better than the makers software

Thanks for your replies. I tried MyPhoneExplorer - but I think it's something to do with the service itself - the phone/service puts the date on incoming texts different than on outgoing ones. I tried adjusting the settings on my phone but no luck.

Maybe it just can't be done!?
