Getting things in your eye what to do?

I know that one of them was caused when the steel lads were manhandling a welded steel staircase into position and it dropped suddenly onto one guy's hand and took several fingers off. He's worked on jobs with a lot of fabricated steelwork and pre-cast concrete sections so plenty of opportunity for crush injuries and the like. The other was a ground worker, I believe, but not sure what it was caused by.

Most of what I deal with is splinters, grit in eyes and minor cuts - so fairly mundane stuff.
