Global mass rearmament

Most clubs have rules, one such rule of NATO is that a country applying cannot currently have border disputes. Another rule is approval of an applying member has to be unanimous, Turkey have good relations with Russia which they won't want to jeopardise.
Yes, quite different to being invaded to stop it though.

Also remember certain countries were a bit worried about allowing their so called far more advanced and superior weapons being used in an actual war situation look how unsuccessful the abrams battle tank has been . or the air defense systems that a pile of two bob hamas rockets overwhelmed allowing the hypersonics to get through and hit their targets

Moving NATO troops into Ukraine (by invitation) when Russia got ready to invade.
Possibly the most stupid comment i have seen in here if that had openly happened you wouldnt be here now to type that .

It is the strategic positioning of Ukraine that has caused this. I understand and agree with your statement but unfortunately Ukraine is a step too far as NATO membership is surrounding Russia. They don't see it this way.
Every invasion on that side of russia has come through Ukraine they have said never again .

No obviously not. however in a war it is the easiest land pass to get onto Russian soil.
It was never going to happen. If he keeps his stolen land all he has done is move his borders closer to NATO. It doesn't make any sense.
