Leaking boilers.... I hate them.

I have a problem with a glow worm 24cdi. There is a leak coming from the front of the heat exchanger, and as a result the burner is coming on for 2 or 3 seconds and then going out. After about 3 attempts it goes into lockout with F1 fault code.

Is this a leaking heat exchanger or a condensate problem?

I have the feeling that as it dripping without the burner having and work that its a heat exchange problem. Would you agree?

Do you mean Cxi or Hxi? If so its probably the condense seal at the bottom front of the heat exchanger. You need to get an RGI in to give a it a look.

It might still drip cos its got lots of water in the bottom of the case.
Get someone in to look at it.
Or could also be that the condense trap/pipe is blocked as well causing the F1 faults and leakage.
