Just need some advice, my boiler was left off during freezing spell, there appears to be no water getting to the boiler, it displays 0.6bar on turning on, fires and shuts down and displays f5 overheat, i can see a leak in the pipe to the safety discharge valve, due to freezing, can these pipes be bought or are they made and shaped by the heating engineer?

It is highly dangerous to operate any boiler if any pipes are frozen.

Most pipes used to connect to a boiler are fabricated by the installer.

its shut down on a safety device which requires an RGI to open boiler to re-set and test/establish appliance is safe to continue being used.
Its not a user re-set.

Thanks for the replies, boiler kicked in tonight, hot water and heating hey presto!! still leaking a little, but no loss of pressure at all. And by leak i mean probably take a year to fill a cup! and no overheat!
