I have had the above combination boiler installed 2 years ago and about 4 months ago I noticed that one of the radiators was not getting hot as i should do (only half of it warmed up), I contacted the installer and he advised me to bleed the radiator in question.

This I did, and in doing so it reduced the pressure in the system to 0.4 bar. I contacted the installer again and he talked me through the actions to raise the pressure again (turn the blue screw inside the boiler).

This raised the pressure back up to 1.0 bar, but since then I have had to fool around with the pressure screw (if that is what it is called) as the pressure keeps fluctuating and does not remain at 1.0 bar.

Any help or advice on setting the pressure to 1.0 bar permenantly would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Geoff

The pressure is not constant - it will go up when the water heats and expands.
If it goes down below the normal cold level, you have a leak. Check the pressure relief pipe which goes through the wall to see if it has dripped.
