some advice greatly appreciated.

i have a two fold problem with the boiler

1. via the thermostatic control the radiators get red hot, and do not switch on and off at the desired temperature. i have replaced the thermostat but the problem is the same

2. i recently installed a new radiator, to do this i drained the system etc, since refilling the system, i have noticed the hot water flow to the shower/ taps is reduced

any ideas

reading multiple forums, it maybe the case of the heat exchange plate is blocked, should i flush the system with cleaner

Check that the thermostat is connected correctly. Mabye its OK at the thermostat itself, but not even connected to the boiler?

If hex blocked flushing e system will not help you much.

how is the thermostat wired? does it actually connect to the boiler at all?
