Hiya,

Our heating went off the other day with an 'F3' fault. On speaking to the installer he thought it would be the condensation pipe running from the bottom of the boiler outside that was frozen. He seemed to be right and after spending 3 hours we managed to defrost it and it seemed to be working relatively OK this morning.

My problem now is that when we turn the hot taps on there is no water coming out at all. I'm assuming there's an airlock or something stopping the water flowing. Can anyone advise what I can do to fix it? I know there's two grey taps underneath the boiler that you open to alter the water pressure. Would turning one of these help?

Any advice gratefully received!

Have you left the two grey handles which pressure your system under boiler in the open position

the right hand grey filling valve must be in the wrong position. If it doesnt do anything take the handle off and check the spindle. The handle could be rounded off.

Just got home and the whole things leaking out of the bottom. I think I've managed to turn off the water inlet - should that help? It was a tap at the bottom of one of the pipes. It definatley wasn't a gas pipe.

should I try the stop tap for the whole house? There's 2 taps under the sink - one with a round red handle, one with a plan brass handle.

If anyone's here and knows anything I'd be so grateful.
