I have just been to a customer whose 50B pilot light won't stay on. Replaced thermocouple with a universal one still no joy. Checked overheat stat for continuity and it is OK.
Has anyone else had problems with these - should I try a genuine Glowworm replacement? I held the gas on until the tip of the thermocouple glowed. Also the customer only has the users instructions and not the installers - again can anyone supply me a copy?
