I have one of these combined with a Danfoss FP715 Domestic Two-Channel Electronic Programmer and a Honeywell thermostat.
My question may sound a little (or a lot, depending on your knowledge) daft.I want to run the CH all the time in the cold weather but on a really low setting, like it's just ticking over.
Do i just turn the control knob for the temp on the boiler down too just above the "0" and switch the programmer to "all day" and set the thermostat to X degrees. Will this work or is it more complicated than that.
Will it affect the HW.this only comes on twice a day 6am to 8am and 6pm to 8pm.I only have two sinks, bathroom and kitchen.
I don't have a bath just a shower which is a Mira Zest connected to the cold water mains supply.
The boiler has been serviced and works fine, pipes lagged loft insulation done.Never had a pipe freeze or burst. It is also an open vent system with tanks in the loft and a cylinder for the HW.
Any and all help greatly appreciated
