Thats my concern that the fan is not supplying sufficient pressure to activate the APS, but I'll leave that to the engineer to diagnose, if it is that.
Glow Worm they no longer stock the fans so its not covered in the fixed price repair. However I have asked my son to get the engineer to check the fan when he attends. The fans are still available from other sources.
 
Just to clarify due to the wording used on this thread, the air "pressure" switch is actually really checking air flow in the combustion air/exhaust route, not pressure from the fan. This is because it's checking for flue operation and the relative pressure across the fan would actually be higher if the flue was restricted.
