Glow Worm Timer

My Glow Worm compact boiler needs a new mechanical timer. I had a plumber round to look, and he said to buy the part and fit it myself, really easy.

I looked online and concluded that the part I needed was S202916.

I ordered the part, but the one that arrived looks different than the broken one.

However, I figured that it might work, but I have no idea how to fit it.

Is it easy? Will the part work?

Finding it hard to get a plumber to look at it

Surely it came with fitting instructions. You don't need a plumber, instead get a boiler repairman.
