GlowWorm 30 hxi F26 then F1 - Overheat Thermostat 801724

Does anyone know if, once tripped, this thermostat will reset itself if left long enough and the boiler cools naturally? Or does the boiler have to be entered to press the red button to reset it? Thank for any help with this which might help diagnose my problem (F26 followed immediately by F1)
