I have just moved to a flat with a Glowworm 30cxi and Drayton Combistat room thermostat. The CH doesn't seem to respond to the Combistat (constantly firing).
The stat is currently two wired from the boiler's 'voltage free heating controls' to terminals 2 & 3 on the Combistat. I can't find this particular wiring configuration in the Combistat documentation.

Should this not be wired to terminals L & 2 or L & 3 depending on the 'No Neutral Load'.

Thanks in advance,
Oscar

You're right, connecting to 2 & 3 would give a permanent ON condition.

Connecting to 2 & L should allow the thermostat to work properly.

Although it appears to be wired from the low voltage controls section of the boiler, for safety's sake I would still switch off all mains power to the boiler before changing any wiring.

Excellent, thanks.
I have no idea who wired the thing up wrong but it is working now.
