Hi, wondered if anyone can help?? My boiler pressure is at 2.8 bar and have heating but no hot water. When i turn the hot tap on it causes the heating flame to go out??

boiler pressure is too high, you need to reduce pressure by bleeding a radiator into a bucket.
make sure the filling loop is turned off properly.
try it again then tell us the make and model if it doesnt work.

am new to this, what sticky!! and yes a 30cxi, am starting to see they are crap!!
got to type quick so ill be brief, top of the plumbing and c/h page, 6 permanent lines/posts, one of which is the info on FAQs for boilers dude.does the pipe that goes outside from your boiler(copper not plastic) make the wall damp?if not i might be barking up the wrong tree so listen to whitespirit and mcmoby
