Glowworm EP50F Boiler running problem

Hi all,
New to the forum I've got economy plus 50 boiler which starts up runs for abou 10-15 seconds then starts making banging noises like a valve or similar opening and shutting then it cuts off?

Pump probably not working.
Take the cap off and put a screw driver in.
It should be turning round. If not new pump.

Excuse my lack of knowledge, where is the pump

My guess would be on the outlet pipe from the boiler

What cover are you refering to

Central heating pump.
Do a search for central heating pump that will show you a picture of one.
Remove centre screw will tell you if it is turning.

Yes that is the pump.
The big centre silver screw. You'll need a big screwdriver or flat blade

To remove pump I need to close valves circled in black and isolate supply pip shown by black circle, Is this correct?
