Hello All,

We are considering installing a GW Ultrapower 170 system store. Has any one had any experience with this product, good or bad?

Also, will it provide a mains pressure shower?

Thanks, J

Personally, hell will freeze over before I would fit a Glow worm.

Horrible cheap boilers and very poor after sales back up.

A conventional unvented cylinder, S plan controls and a quality system boiler is a much better option. This unit is really for new build numpties who don't give a s**t about long term reliabilty for the customer but just want to install the system as quick as possible. This new range of Glowworms are s***te in every way.

You don't appear to understand the concept of the Ultrapower regarding mains pressure.

Before consdiering mains pressure hot water the working pressures and flowrates must be measured.

Best avoid an unvented cylinder. They can do this:

They also need an annual service.

Feedback so far is that this is a decent boiler. Glow Worm are owned by Vaillant.

The same with any mains pressure system.

You got that right.
